Join us as we explore the BCI umbrella of brands outside of France to the Boomsma Distillery in the Netherlands.
The Boomsma distillery was created in 1883 by Dirk Boomsma and is still today, a 100% family-owned business. Chantoine, the 5th generation owner, is leading the company and continues to cherish the family values and traditions through their production of Dutch Genevers and herbal bitters in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands.
During this webinar, we will learn more about these delightful and traditional spirits with a webinar led by Chantoine Boomsma. We will also enjoy a fun cocktail mixing class led by expert bartender François Morrison.

MEET THE SPEAKERS
Chantoine: Chantoine comes from a long line of spirits makers and after spending years abroad and outside the family business, Chantoine joined the Boomsma Company in 2003, starting in exports and sales to learn more about the surrounding market. In 2009, he took over the company with his sister, Saskia, and they’ve been leading the company ever since. The most important part of their work is the respect for the tradition which has been passed down over generations to ensure the highest quality spirits.
François: While originally from Paris, François’s first experience behind a bar was in Tokyo and he hasn’t looked back. François has had an illustrious career behind the bar as he’s taken up residencies at several world-renowned restaurants, such as Balthazar, Pastis, and Cherche Midi to name a few. After years of consulting for bars, clubs, and liquor brands, François is now the National On-Premise Strategic Accounts VP for BCI, an importing and branding company focused on ensuring the authentic savoir-fare in wine & spirits.
