We will be joined by Judith Perez Gomez, a PhD Pharmacist, with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She will discuss the topic of vaccines: What are they? What are the differences between the different types of COVID vaccines? How will the vaccine be distributed globally? The discussion will be followed by a Q&A with the audience. Judith Perez Gomez, PhD Pharmacist

Judith Perez Gomez is a PhD Pharmacist, with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a Master’s degree in Gene and Cellular Therapy Quality Control, a degree in Vaccinology from the University of Bordeaux, and an alumni member from ADVAC.

She is currently working in Global Medical affairs Education and Partnerships at Sanofi Pasteur where she is the strategic medical and scientific leader for the company’s across brands projects internally as well as externally.  As part of her work, Judith is responsible to secure effectiveness, quality and compliance by enhancing company’s scientific engagement and fully compliant intersection between sciences and commercialisation. She provides physicians, key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals with medical and scientific information and education on the value and proper use of company’s vaccines.

Judith has been medically involved in the in all vaccine’s ranges, from the travel vaccination, to paediatrics, passing by adolescents and senior vaccination. She is currently very involved in different external partnership projects, including IMI projects (ADVANCE, DRIVE, VITAL), an active member of Vaccines Europe (as part of EFPIA) and highly commitment on vaccine hesitancy projects, supporting several actions aiming to restore trust in vaccination.
