FACC-MI: Strategies for Coping with the Challenges Presented by COVID-19 and U.S. Immigration

April 17, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Learn how immigration law is evolving in the context of COVID-19 and how companies can best adjust to this new landscape and manage their foreign work force. This webinar is first and foremost directed towards employers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has produced significant challenges to U.S. companies and their employees that includes layoffs and furloughs, cancelled contracts, reduced hours, increase in teleworking, and travel restrictions. In addition, U.S. companies and their foreign national labor force face possible immigration issues when it comes to maintaining status and complying with U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. immigration regulations during this pandemic.
In this webinar, we will survey the current environment and assess the potential pitfalls for U.S. companies and their foreign national employees. We will provide recommendations for possible visa/status solutions to help U.S. companies and their employees during this challenging time.
