FACC-MI: Operate Business in the “New Normal”

May 7, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm CDT

Learn how several key companies & organizations prepare for re-starting operations & manufacturing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

All of us have been impacted by COVID-19 and the lockdowns. The time to get back to work and get operations running again is approaching, while no tested blueprint exists to protect employees and companies. How to address these times of uncertainty in business?

Our speakers will present their perspective on what the “New Normal” will look like from their industry vantage point after work resumes.

Mr. Philippe Thegner, Chairman of the China Aftermarket Forum, and Sr. advisor at Auto Mobility in Shanghai, will be detailing the changes that already took place in Chinese automotive manufacturing since the end of the lockdown (China has now resumed automotive production and is aiming to run at 90% of its pre-crisis capacity in May);
Mrs. Kathy Myers, Vice President, Business Development at Conlin Travel, one of the largest travel-management companies in the Midwest, will cover the travel (especially business travel) industry;
Mrs. Gina Gleyal, HSE regional manager at Plastic Omnium, a major French Tier-1 automotive supplier operating in the US, will share their operation’s adjustments to the manufacturing space;
Drew Coleman Director of the Foreign Direct Investment at MEDC will provide a broad Michigan Business perspective.
