FACC-ATL Webinar: Women’s Series – Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative

September 10, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT

We will discuss how to support female entrepreneurship, drive partnerships and how to take your business global.

As part of the Women’s Series:

We cordially invite you to virtually join us on September 10th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

To learn about the City of Atlanta’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) and Meet the Entrepreneurs of the 2020 cohort

We will hear firsthand pitches from WEI’s 2020 cohort and engage in conversation on how to drive partnerships and go global

WEI serves to provide unprecedented access to the human, educational and financial capital critical to empowering early stage company-building entrepreneurs, who just so happen to be women. While we recognize and diligently work to revolutionize the economic and social inequities faced by women business owners, we also stand firm in our belief that being a women and an entrepreneur can mutually coexist, and marginalization based on gender must be minimized, in order for talent to be maximized..

Monica Delores Hooks, the Executive Director of Atlanta’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, will present WEI’s mission

Following her presentation we will hear 1 min pitches from 15 members of the 2020 cohort

The discussion will be moderated by Vanessa Ibarra, Director, Mayor’s Office of International Affairs & Trade.
