Speakers

 

Christophe Van Gool is originally from Belgium, and has worked in the insurance industry for his entire career throughout several countries in Europe. Prior to moving to the U.S., he worked in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market handling global insurance programs. Christophe has over 25 years of experience in placing and handling international business. Christophe is multilingual and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Antwerp, a Master’s Degree in International Management from the University of Brussels, and a post-graduate degree in Business Management from the University of Louvain. He is invited to speak regularly on panels in Europe on US product liability and insurance related topics. Christophe is currently the Director of Global Solutions at EPIC and advises foreign-owned companies in the US on risk management and insurance issues.

As Risk Management Consultant at EPIC, Tom Mackey specializes in the design and implementation of complex risk management programs for clients, primarily focusing on Information Risk “Cyber” and Management / Professional Liability coverages. This includes the identification and analysis of client exposures, insurance program benchmarking and design, negotiation of coverage terms and pricing, and ongoing monitoring of risk evolution and marketplace changes. Tom is responsible for developing new business relationships and connecting current clients with strategic partners in various industry verticals. Tom also advises EPIC’s private equity and corporate clients on insurance related matters from due diligence through deal close and post-merger integration of target companies.
