They own all of their vineyards and do not buy grapes in. The issue of ‘provenance’ from the vineyards right through to the finished wines is critical to us. The Château du Seuil wines are first class\, well reviewed in the press\, and have all received international tasting awards.\n\nThe Château du Seuil philosophy over the last 8 years has been to use less and less chemical treatments in the vineyard. Chateau du Seuil is now registered as being under conversion to full organic status. This involves a far more intensive management of the vineyard as conditions in the Gironde are often humid and this means that a fully organic program is very challenging. Château du Seuil is well established\, with a successful track record of working with a wide range of top hotels and fine dining restaurants around the world. They believe the future rests in cleaner viticulture with small family owned estates leading the way to more careful and dedicated management of the vineyard.\n\nCarole Sabit will be our host for the evening at Château du Seuil. Carole has always worked in the wine industry and prior to her arrival at Château du Seuil in 1999 was in the wine trading\, with a wine broker and another winegrower. She has a genuine love of wine and has obtained WSET Level 3 in English\, as well as assessing the wines each year at Qualibordeaux and in some wine competition including Concours des vins de Bordeaux.\n\nWhere to buy Château du Seuil\nThis event will be held virtually and attendees will be able to purchase the wines for the event in advance. We have selected two locations in the Boston Area (Somerville & Newton) to purchase the wine and YES they deliver!\n\nThe wines we’ll try\n\nChâteau du Seuil\, Graves (red)\nDomaine du Seuil\, Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux (white)\n\nSee below for more information about the wine resellers: \n\n\nThe Wine & Cheese Cask\n407 Washington St\, Somerville\, MA 02143\nTel:(617) 623-8656\nwww.thewineandcheesecask.com\n\nLower Falls Wine Co\n2366 Washington St\, Newton Lower Falls\, MA 02462\nTel: (617) 332-3000\nhttps://lowerfallswine.com/\n\n\n\n \nOur Sponsor: Coravin \nFACCNE is so excited to have Coravin as our sponsor for this event! Coravin is the first and only global wine technology company on a mission to change the way the world drinks wine. Their innovative products empower wine lovers to explore the world of wine at any level\, with any bottle\, at any time. \nWith availability in over 60 countries and driven by a team of passionate executives with deep consumer product experience\, Coravin is changing the way the world drinks wine. Their global retail\, restaurant and winery footprint is growing rapidly\, as they power some of the world’s best wine-by-the-glass programs at restaurants around the world.\n\nGreg Lambrecht is the inventor of the Coravin Wine Preservation Opener. His devoted passion for wine\, his degree in nuclear engineering from MIT and successful career in medical technologies intersected when he innovated the wine tech sector by creating a system that uses a non-coring needle to pass through the cork while it’s still in the bottle. This groundbreaking wine technology offered consumers the freedom to drink any wine\, in any amount\, without feeling the need to finish the entire bottle. Before founding Coravin\, Lambrecht’s career focused on patenting medical technologies\, including needles designed for chemotherapy.\n\n**Use the code FACCNE20 for 20% off on Coravin systems starting Monday\, December 7th. Make sure to place an order by Dec. 11th to make it in time for Dec. 18th event. The discount of 20% may not be combined with any other offer and will be valid through Dec. 31st.**\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:FACC-NE Leaders Series #1: Meet the Founders of Yuka and Too Good To Go
DESCRIPTION:FACCNE is launching its new Leaders Series to meet with C-level Executives whose companies\, startups\, and initiatives are boosting the American market. This first online event is organized with the CCI France Canada – Montreal and will exceptionally be held in French.
